Grundy Center girls and boys basketball earned road wins at Aplington-Parkersburg in NICL action on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
The girls, ranked 10th in Class 2A, won 49-34. A top-10 tilt in the boys game went to the sixth-ranked Spartans, 74-69 winners over No. 9 Aplington-Parkersburg.
Kali Aldrich led the Grundy Center girls with 18 points, the Spartans improve to 13-1.
Brayden Davie paced the Spartan boys with 29 points, Judd Jirovsky and Ethan Meester added 19 and 10 points, respectively. The GC boys moved to 12-0 on the season.
