Grundy Center needed less than an hour to dispatch Colfax-Mingo in a 3-0 sweep on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Grundy Center High School in a Class 2A Region 4 quarterfinal.
The Spartans will take on Earlham in Grundy Center in the regional semifinal scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27.
Ryanne Brubaker had a strong start offensively for the Spartans, playing their first game in over a week after the regular-season finale against Wapsie Valley on Oct. 14.
